Meet the Principal, I.A.
BIO
Lisa has devoted 26 years of her educational career in servicing and advocating for multilingual learners (MLs). She is currently the Project Director of P.S. 331. Before this role, Lisa was an assistant superintendent and a middle school principal. She has worked in various capacities in Taiwan and New York Public School Systems as well as New York State Education Department, focusing on literacy, dual/bilingual education, instructional technology education, and world/foreign language education for all students.
Lisa graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from National Taiwan Normal University in Taiwan. She has also earned Master’s Degrees in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages(TESOL) from Adelphi University and School Administration and Supervision from Touro University. She was selected to be one of the distinguished principals of the Gray Fellowship for Principal Excellence Cohort 22-23 and serves as a principal coach for Cohort 23-24.
